Last week, Iowa State University celebrated its homecoming with a week full of events and school spirit.
Events during the week included the athletic competition Cyclone Tourneys, Campanile for CyFest, Yell Like Hell, Painting Victory Lane and Food on Campus.
The theme for Homecoming 2025 was Lights, Camera, Cyclones. The Homecoming Pep Rally on Friday night featured the women’s and men’s basketball teams, the men’s wrestling team and speeches from ISU President Wendy Wintersteen and Jeff Johnson, the recently retired Lora and Russ Talbot Endowed President and CEO of the ISU Alumni Association. The event also announced the Cardinal Court winners and hosted the Yell Like Hell final performances.
The celebration culminated in the football game Saturday against the BYU Cougars, which started well but ultimately ended with a Cyclone defeat, 27-41.
