The Story County Board of Supervisors passed an amendment allowing golf courses to build cabins and lodging at a six-minute meeting Tuesday morning.
The ordinance adds cabins or lodging to the list of facilities that can be included in golf courses. It also limits golf courses to three cabins for a nine-hole course or six cabins for an 18-hole course.

Acknowledgement of a purchase by the Story County Sheriff’s Office for an air quality monitor and purification system for the dispatch center ($6,002)
Acknowledgement of purchases ($22,279) for the sheriff’s office dive team, a drone ($9,342), and replacement body armor ($7,611)
Consideration of renewal and support fees for antivirus software ($16,174) and fees for annual software licensing ($1,895)
