Hundreds of demonstrators gathered at O’Neil Park on Saturday for the “No Kings” demonstration. The “No Kings” movement is a nationwide protest against the Trump administration’s policies and actions.
Demonstrators carried signs, chanted and marched through the park, voicing their concerns. The rally was organized by local groups, including Indivisible Ames, Democracy Every Day and the League of Women Voters.
The event was part of a second wave of “No Kings” demonstrations held across the country, following the first rallies on June 14, 2025.
