Two and a half minutes into No. 2 seed Iowa State’s First Round game against No. 15 seed Tennessee State, the 17,192 in attendance fell quiet as consensus All-American Joshua Jefferson landed awkwardly. Jefferson was helped off the floor and returned to the bench in a boot and on crutches.
