WBB: Jackson’s triples power Cyclones win over Knights

Three Cyclones scored in double figures as Iowa State women’s basketball topped the University of Central Florida, 65-52, Saturday afternoon in a Big 12 contest at Hilton Coliseum. The Cyclones led for 35 minutes and 25 seconds of the game, improving to 18-5 overall and 6-5 in conference play.

MBB: No. 2 Iowa State falls at Cincinnati

Milan Momcilovic scored a career-high 34 points, but No. 2 Iowa State couldn’t overcome early turnovers and a decisive 3-point shooting gap in a 79-70 loss to Cincinnati on Saturday night at Fifth Third Arena.

MBB: No. 3 Cyclones stay perfect, top Oklahoma State 83-71

No. 3 Iowa State didn’t make it easy on itself, but the Cyclones once again found a way to win. Behind a steady night from Milan Momcilovic and a strong finish from Joshua Jefferson, Iowa State held off Oklahoma State 83-71 Saturday night at Hilton Coliseum, extending the best start in program history to 16-0 and improving to 3-0 in Big 12 play.

MBB: Lipsey’s late surge lifts No. 3 Iowa State past Baylor, 70-60

Behind a dominant second half from Tamin Lipsey and another monster performance from Joshua Jefferson, the Cyclones pulled away from Baylor for a 70-60 victory Saturday night in Waco, improving to 15-0 for the first time in program history and tallying the program’s 1,500th win in school history.
